To maintain its valuable real estate asset, the developer sought a firm that was familiar with the building's mechanical systems and could provide a facilities preventive maintenance program that would eliminate downtime, preserve equipment life, and help control utility costs.
FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SOLUTION
EMCOR Services CommAir/BALCO's on-site facilities technicians perform preventive maintenance activities and respond to service calls related to the facility's primary mechanical systems, as well as those owned and operated by the facility's main tenant, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
The Abbey Group originally hired J.C. Higgins to help transform a historically significant but otherwise non-productive holding into a useful, modern commercial building. Following the renovation, the clients hired EMCOR Services CommAir/BALCO to handle facilities preventive and other maintenance activities.
