FACILITIES & HVAC MAINTENANCE SOLUTION
EMCOR Services Northeast provides quarterly facilities & HVAC preventive maintenance and repair services, which are scheduled through the company's wireless computerized facilities maintenance management system. The facilities heating and air conditioning equipment maintained includes two cooling towers, 300 heat pumps, seven air-handling units, two package rooftop units, 12 pumps, 18 electric unit heaters, 35 exhaust fans, and a direct digital control (DDC) system.
We provided system start-up and commissioning after our sister company, J.C. Higgins, upgraded this facility's entire HVAC system. To ensure that the newly upgraded commercial HVAC equipment continued to operate at peak efficiency, we designed an ongoing custom facilities & HVAC preventive maintenance program.
BOSTON NON-PROFIT FACILITY BACKGROUND
The YWCA Boston is a wellspring for women, offering a place, a voice, and a home for growing women throughout life. Unified by a common goal -- to achieve gender and racial justice -- the YWCA provides a unique environment where women from all walks of life can come together to access the tools and opportunities they need to participate fully in all spheres of life, to make their voices heard on issues of concern, and to claim their individual and collective power. In addition to the YWCA, this facility includes affordable housing at the "Berkeley Residence," as well as one of Boston's newest hotels, "The 140 Hotel."
